Description

The Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, MD has a requirement for Brand Name Mandatory CALCULEX, Incorporated products. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 423690, Other Electronic Parts and Equipment. The following CALCULEX, Incorporated Brand Name Mandatory equipment is required: 2 each MONSSTR Ruggedized Recorder, 2 each Dual Canister Ruggedized Chassis, 2 each 51GB Memory, and 1 each Rack Mount Kit. The required CALCULEX part numbers are CSR-6201/51, CSR-6202, CSR-6041/51, and CSR-6051, respectively. CALCULEX is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the required equipment. It is anticipated that this solicitation will be released on or after 26 August 2005. CALCULEX and authorized distributors of CALCULEX Brand Name equipment should be aware that the Navy intends to release the solicitation, including any subsequent amendments, via the Internet. The solicitation will reside on the NAVAIR 2.0 Contracts Webpage located on the World Wide Web (WWW). The WWW server may be accessed using client browsers such as NETSCAPE and INTERNET EXPLORER. The Uniform Resource Locator (world wide web address) for the NAVAIR 2.0 Contracts Webpage is https://contracts.navair.navy.mil. To access the solicitation, select FEDBIZOPPS, FIND BUSINESS opportunities. It is the contractor?s responsibility to continuously monitor the web site for the latest information concerning the requirement. IN THE INTEREST OF ACQUISITION STREAMLINING, PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO USE THE INTERNET TO SUBMIT REQUESTS RELATIVE TO THIS SOLICITATION.
