- Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source requirement to SYNTHES, 1690 Russell Road, Paoli, PA 19301-1262, under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services will satisfy the Agency's Requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed award based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determing whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The requirement is to purchse (500) replacement surgical instruments manufacturered by SYNTHES. Line Item #0001: Large Fragment LCP (TM) Instrument and Implant Set W/4.0 and 5.0MM Locking Screws. Line Item #0002: Periarticular LCP Plating System Instruments and Screws Set. Line Item #0003: Small Fragment LCP Instrument/Implant Se! t with Self-Tapping Screws. (Please call or email for the descriptions and part numbers for the instruments and implants identified on each Line Item that have been included on a Spread Sheet). Interested firms must submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement. Responses are due by 4:00 PM., EDST on 17 August 2005 via facsmile to (910) 451-1275 or mail to Contracting Division, P.O. Box 8368, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC 28547-8368.
