- NASA/DFRC has a requirement for #SD53C22-PG-E1-MOD, Spectra III Dome (8 each); #WV-CL924A/WVI, 1/2" CCD Color and B/W Switchable, 24 VAC or 12 VDC (5 each), #VD805M1-T-MD8, Stand-Alone Fiber Transmitters, Video & Up-the Coax Control Data (8 each); #VD805M1-R-RD2, Rack-Mount Fiber Receivers, Video & Up-the-Coax Control Data (8 each); #V110M-T-MD8, MM, Video Only, One Way, Fiber Optic Transmitters Stand Alone w/Diagnostic Indicators (5 each); #V110M-R-R-RD8, MM, Video Only, One Way, Fiber Optic Receivers, Rack Mount w/Diagnostic Indicators (5 each); #TF2000, Power Supplies (10 each); #WCS1-4, Power Supplies (8 each); #HK47-2, Heater Kits (10 each); #BK47-2, Blower Kits (10 each); #EH4700100009, Filters (20 each); #PP350, Parapet, wall mounts (3 each); #WM2000, Wall Mounts (3 each); #MRCA, Ceiling Mounts (3 each); #SWM, Small Wall Mount (3 each); #AH2000, Adjustable Head (3 each). NASA/DFRC intends to procure these items from Western Video, Incorporated (WVI) of Canyon Lake, California on a call order against NASA Contract E05383D (BPA). The authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. NASA/DFRC has previously procured these items from WVI and procurement of any other brand will not be acceptable as commonality with existing equipment must be maintained. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:00PM (Pacific Standard Time), 23 Aug 2005. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed.
