- The previously issued Presolicitation Notice pertaining to Solicitation DG133W-05-RP-1037 is hereby modified to (1) change the quantity of supplies being acquired from a maximum of 25 to 1, (2) change other terms of the notice due to the change in quantity, (3) change the projected solicitation issuance date to August 29, 2005, and (4) change the projected solicitation closing date to September 8, 2005. The Presolicitation Notice is reprinted below with these changes. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, National Weather Service (NWS) has a requirement for one International Satellite Communications System (ISCS) Workstation, including applications software, with associated documentation and installation, training, and maintenance services. The ISCS Workstation will be used to receive the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) World Area Forecast System (WAFS) satellite broadcasts from the United States. Also, the ISCS Workstation must be capable of receiving and transmitting Regional Meteorological Telecommunications Network (RMTN) data. The installation location is expected to be in Surinam, South America. Installation is expected to take place within approximately four months after award. Simplified acquisition procedures will be used; Solicitation DG133W-05-RP-1037 will be issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) on or about August 29, 2005 and will close on or about September 8, 2005. The solicitation will be available on FedBizOpps when it is issued. Please monitor FedBizOpps for release of the solicitation. All responsible sources may respond to the solicitation by submitting a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. See Note 26.
