Description

Travis AFB intends to award a sole source renewal purchase order to Beckman Coulter Inc., Brea , CA for the following: 1) Use of two (2) Beckman Coulter DXC 600 PRO Chemistry Analyzers. All preventive maintenance and service contracts are included under these arrangement. In the event that both instruments are down, service will be provided and the after hours service charge will be waived. Cost per test shall include all reagents, controls, calibrators and other consumables to perform stated test volume. Contract includes instruments, water system, maintenance, reagents, and training as necessary. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a), full and open competition need not be provided when there is Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supply or Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The period of performance is from 01 Oct 05 through 30 Sep 06. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. NAICS Code 334516 applies. This notice serves as information only. Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government?s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. Government does not incur any costs as a result of this posting. Contractors must be actively registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov.
