- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation W911S2-05-T-0115 is issued as a Request for Quote. This solicitation is being conducted under S implified Acquisition Procedures specified in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-04. The standard industrial code is 7389 (NAICS code 541370) and the business size standard is $4 million per year. This procurement is reserved for Small Business. The Request for Quote will be evaluated based on price, technically acceptable, and responsible offer/quote. Bidders are required to submit 3 references with contact information, preferably from government clients. Also, a 12 x12 sample board must be submitted for evaluation. The documentation displaying individual map sections will be made available to the c ontractor who is issued the award. Aerial Photographs will be made available to successful bidder. Commercial standards apply. Information provided may only be reproduced or disclosed in accordance with solicitation and/or contract award. This is proprietary information and must be returned to the government. Deliver the following: CLINS 0001- Terrain board- A set of three dimensional topographical terrain boards that model the Ft. Drum Cantonment Area and Wheeler Sack Airfield .FOB delivery will be Fort Drum, NY. REQUIREMENTS: 1.) Models shall be study models of sanded foam or milled hard plastic with three dimensional buildings, painted roads and parking lots, painted foliage and painted water features. Layouts are based on 4x 8 model size. 2.) Scale shall be 200:1. 3.) There are approx 2000 buildings in the area to be represented. 4.) The maximum elevation differential between highest and lowest points for all models is 179. 5.) Models shall fit together to form a continuous model but shall also be able to stand individually. 6.) Maximum model size shall be 48 x96 . Minimum shall be 48 x48 . 7.) Models shall be provided with reusable shipping cases. 8.) Shipping cases and models shall be numbered or labeled so as to readily identify each model to fit the appropriate case when the model is used. 9.) No decorative features are required. The following FAR and DFAR Clauses and Provisions are incorporated by reference and will remain in full force in any resultant award.
