Description
The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), intends to award a sole source cost type contract to Anteon Corporation , One Corporate Place, Middletown, RI 02842, for the continued systems engineering and software development support for the research, development, testing and fielding of the Naval Integrated Tactical Environmental System (NITES) capabilities within the Global Command and Control System (GCCS) and Maritime (GCCS-M) Version 4.x. The effort shall require NITES 4.1 to be tested as part of the formal Development Testing (DT) and Operational Testing (OT) of the GCCS-M 4.x system. The effort shall require formal design and development processes to ensure that the applications meet the operational requirements and the software design reflects the required system specifications. In addition to fielding NITES 4.1, the software will also be used for the Global Command and Control System (GCCS-Joint). A variant of the software is also required in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization ??? Maritime Command and Control Information System (NATO-MCCIS). Work shall support fielded releases and current development. The Government intends to award, on a sole source basis, a two-year contract for the described products. This contract will consist of one base year and one option year. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responses received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.
