Description
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), Office of Acquisition Management (OAM) is conducting additional market research, FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY, to identify any businesses that possess the necessary technical capabilities to provide environmental insurance expert support for the Office of Site Remediation Enforcement (OSRE), in the Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance (OECA). This support is to assist OSRE and regional EPA offices in evaluating insurance issues arising in the Superfund enforcement process. This notice is a continuation of the original sources sought notice (# PR-HQ-05-12188) posted 8 July 2005, and requests additional information, in the form of qualification statements, from potentially interested bidders. The information received from this announcement will be used by this office to determine whether the subject requirement will be set aside for non-large business concerns (i.e., SB, SDB, 8(a), HUBzone, or SDVOSB). The North American Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 524298, with a corresponding size standard of $6M. All relevant documents pertaining to this procurement will be posted to the following web site: http://www.epa.gov/oamsrpod/pmrcsc/insure/index.htm. It is the responsibility of interested parties to regularly monitor the subject website for the latest status updates. Standard company brochures will not be considered a sufficient response to this Sources Sought Synopsis. Responses tailored specifically for this procurement are required, including specific relevant and demonstrable experience, as provided in the ?Requirements? section of the SOW (the complete draft SOW may be found at the website provided above). Firms responding to this announcement are further requested to consider and disclose any potential conflict of interest issues in their responses. Any qualification statements submitted as a result of this notice must be provided to this office by no later than 2:00 PM EDT, August 26, 2005. Responses are limited to ten (10) pages, including attachments (but not including resumes, which will not count toward the 10 page limit. There is a separate 10 page limit for resumes), on 8 ? x 11 pages, 12 font (pitch).
