- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center has a requirement for data recovery services on computer hard drives and peripheral equipment. Computer systems include Dos, Windows 3.x, Windows 95, Windows 98, Macintosh, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Linux, OS/2, and other Unix OS/s. Peripheral devices include diskettes, zip disks, and optical disks. The contractor is required to perform an evaluation of various data storage devices, as specified in the Performance Work Statement, and develop a cost estimate for data recovery services when authorized by the Government. Responses are sought only from contractors who are authorized by Dell™ to perform hard drive data recovery. Data recovery performed by an unauthorized company will automatically void the warranty. Therefore, only responses from Dell™ authorized companies will be considered. Additionally, the contractors performing this work must have a Department of Defense security clearance for data up to and including Secret and have appropriate safeguards to protect the classified devices and data. The period of performance of the resultant contract will consist of a base period from the time of award and end 30 September 2005, and two one-year option periods. The primary place of performance is at the contractor’s facility. Interested parties may obtain a copy of the Request For Proposal on the Naval Air Systems Command website: http://www.navair.navy.mil/doing_business/open_solicitations under solicitation N00421-05-R-0111. This requirement will be evaluated using the Level Of Confidence Assessment Rating. Note: Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation 252.204-7004 “Required Central Contractor Registration” applies to all solicitations issued on or after 6/1/1998. Lack of registration in Central Contractor Registration database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Please ensure compliance with this regulation when submitting your offer. Requestors must include a point of contact, an e-mail address, a facsimile (fax) number, and provide their North American Industry Classification System number, and Data Universal Numbering System number. All North American Industry Classification System code holders under 541519 may submit a quotation that shall be considered by the agency. The appropriate North American Industry Classification System code is 541519 with size standard of $21 million in sales revenue.
