Description

The VA Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, PA is seeking qualified, responsible firms who have the capacity and capability to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to complete Project Emergency Electrical Upgrade Phase 1. Work will include but is not limited to the removal and replacement of elevator and boiler room automatic transfer switches, the installation of an additional boiler room transformer and associated high current switches. Installation of these devices shall include all associated items such as, but not limited to, conduits, wires and controls. Contractor will also be required to remove any existing materials/devices, including mechanical equipment and duct work located in the area of installation for the additional boiler room transformer. Construction cost range is $100,000-250,000 NAICS for this procurement is 238210, size standard 12.0 million. Bid documents will be available on or about August 26, 2005.
