- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-05 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20050726. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 3823 and the size standard is 500 employees. NAICS is 334513. This acquisition is a 100% small business set aside. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (The award will be less than $100,000) will be followed. This purchase will be for one (1) Automated Air Data Calibrator with the following salient characteristics: Designed to perform automatic and manual calibrations of various types of instruments and testers in the air data pressure range. Typical instruments that are to be calibrated include air data test sets, air data computers, altimeters, airspeed indicators, and vertical speed indicators. Performance requirements: The primary operation and information center of the Air Data Calibrator will be the touch panel display. All operation menus, data entry keys, and test parameters are activated and displayed at this panel along with a continuous update of pressure conditions. Dynamic control allows operator modification at any point in the test with prompts for setup and procedures for a wide variety of tests can be built in to assist the operator in the activities associated with measurement.
