Description

The Northern Region Contracting Center, Mission Division, Fort Leavenworth, KS Intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Combat Films and Research, Inc. for collaboration on the production of a book on Operation Anaconda in Afghanistan. The collaboration will include providing copyrighted interview transcripts conducted prior , during and after the battle; travel to various interview locations; new video interviews with selected personnel; expert guidance and critique in the preparation, writing and rewriting of the manuscript; conducting research; and written reports. Purchas e will be made under simplified acquisition procedures under Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Offerors respond ing to this notice must provide a statement of capability by email to viola.owens@leavenworth.army.mil not later than 2:00 PM CDT on 22 Aug 05.
