- Tronair, Inc. The U. S. Department of the Interior, Minerals Management Service, on behalf of the United States Army Intelligence and Security Command (USAISC), Fort Belvoir, Virginia, intends to make a firm-fixed price, sole source award to Tronair, Inc. Holland, Ohio. Specifically, USAISC has the need for 3 ea. Aircraft Battery Lift, P/N 04-6032-0100 and 3 ea. Lift Tray Assembly, P/N Z-4082. Through market research these are the only products found specifically designed for removal/replacement of batteries in ERJ-145 aircraft. Use of this product will allow maintenance/repairs to be made with minimum risk of injury to personnel and/or damage to the airframe. This will result in quicker turn times on maintenance/repair operations. This announcement is published as a Sole Source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. This is NOT a request for competitive quotes. The intent of this Special Notice is for informational purposes only. However, all information received by 3:00 p.m. EDT 22 August 2005 will be considered by the Government.
