- This synopsis/solicitation is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on-Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO in unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, VA intends to procure on a sole source basis, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (Firm Fixed Price) Scramnet Cards and IP Modules as set forth herein. The sole sourced company is Systran Corporation, DBA Curtiss Wright Controls Embedded Computing, 4126 Linden Avenue, Dayton, OH 45432. Items shall be delivered F.O.B. Destination to the Receiving Officer, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100. Reference NSWC Request for Quote N00178-! 05-Q-0005. The items and quantities to be procured are as follows: P/N BHAS-DID48, IP Module, 48 Channel Discrete Input IP Board - 7 (seven) each; P/N BHAS- RELAY-16, Relay 16 IP Module, 16 Channel Relay IP board - 12 (twelve) each; P/N H-AS-D6VME01M-20, 6U VME SCRAMNetPlus Fiber Media Card w/l MB of Memory (2 x 512KB SIMMS) - 3 (three) each; P/N H-AS-DPCIG02M-20, PCI SCRAMNetPlus SC150e Fiber Media Card w/2 MB of High Density Memory - 3 (three) each. As a result of this notice, no written solicitation shall be issued. The sole source nature of this procurement is that the components listed herein are spares for an existing Ship/Submarine Environment and Missile Simulation (SEMS) developed for support of testing of the Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System (TTWCS) (NUWC/NSWCDD) and are unique to Systran/Curtiss-Wright as the sole designer, developer and manufacturer.
