Description

This is a simplified acquisition procedure/commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6 and under the test program for commercial item IAW FAR 13.5. FISC Norfolk Contracts Department, Philadelphia Division intends to acquire on a sole source basis with Gen-Probe IAW 6.302(1) and FAR 13.501(a) for Reagent rental in support of Chlamydia Tachomatis, Neisseria Gonorrhoeae and Pace 2 Combination for testing and diagnosis of Chlamydia and Gonorrhoreae at Naval Hospital Great Lakes, IL. Award of a firm fixed price is anticipated. The Government's obligation is contingent upon congress enacting FY06 appropriation. The NAICS is 325413. The resultant contract will contain a base year plus four (4) one year options as follows: Base Year 01 Oct 2005 thru 30 Sep 2006, OPT I 01 Oct 2006 thru 30 Sep 2007, OPT II 01 Oct 2007 thru 30 Sep 2008, OPT III 01 Oct 2008 thru 30 Sep 2009, OPT IV 01 Oct 2009 thru 30 Sep 2010. All the requirements should be priced for the base year and all option years. The requirements for testing: #1791-Detection Reagent 24 PK 1200 tests/pk, #1792-Chlamydia trachomatis 24 KT 100 tests/kt, #1793-Neisseria Gonorrhoeae 24KT 100 tests/kt, #3905B-Pace 2 Combination Assay (bulk kit) 18KT 1,000 tests/kt, #3275-Male Collection Kit 12PK 50/pk, #3300 Female Collection Kit 240PK 50/pk.
