Description

Contractor shall provide construction services to relocate the existing Medical Records fileroom from basement North of Bldg 1 to 6th floor East of Bldg 1. Work also includes but is not limited to dismantling shelving, moving hospital mailroom, reproduction room and post office into vacated space. Construction work includes new acoustical ceilings, wall construction, new lighting, painting and sprinkler system upgrades. Construction cost range is $100,000-250,000 NAICS for this procurement is 236220, size standard 28.5 million. Bid documents will be available o/a 8/29/05. Interested bidders must submit WRITTEN REQUESTS ONLY to Contracting Officer, VA Medical Center, 1111 East End Blvd., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711. Fax #570-821-7277. Telephone calls will not be accepted. All respondents must be registered in Central Contractor Registration database at www.ccr.gov. Bid documents will be issued on a first come first serve basis until supply is exhausted. Award is subject to availability of funds.
