- Description
- This project shall include, but not be limited to renovating the existing Nuclear Medicine space to accommodate the planned installation of a new MRI unit. The project entails two phases, the first will be renovating an adjacent space for relocation of the Nuclear Medicine "Hot Lab" to make space available for the new MRI. Vacated space will be extensively renovated. Work will include demolition, architectural, electrical, mechanical/HVAC and Biomedical engineering design. Design will include application of VA Space Criteria and manufacturers recommedations to provide for proper program space. Special consideration will need to be considered for this design, such as copper-lined walls and electromagnetic transmissions for protection of adjacent areas. Completion time 120 calendar days. Cost Range $500,000-1 million NAICS for this procurement is 236220, size standard 28.5 million.
