Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement to Envirocare of Utah to provide DISPOSAL ONLY of low level radioactive waste. This award is for waste DISPOSAL ONLY and DOES NOT include characterization, profiling, brokering or transpo rtation. The waste stream consists of soil contaminated with depleted uranium. This material is licensed/regulated by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the Low Level Waste Policy Act as amended 42 USC @2021 (B) et seq. All applicable permits and lic enses are required. Any contract will be awarded under other than full and open competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for offers. A determination not to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely wit hin the discretion of the government.
