- The following are questions and answers for SOLICITIATION N00604-05-T-0764. Closing date remains the same. Question 1.) Recycled Asphalt. Is this bituminous hot mix. Please clarify recycled. Is this for Recycled asphalt pavement already milled or, is it Hot Mix Asphalt with recycled pavement and if so, what mix size type? Answer: This mixture is classified as clean mix, preferably -1/2 inch Question 2.) How will the material be accepted? Is it going to be placed immediately upon delivery to Schofield Barracks? Answer: Delivery will be sometime in September 2005. The drivers will only have to spread the material then they can go, spacing out the delivery times per truck between 1 to 2 hours. The material will further be spread by the customer. Question 3.) Tack Coat. How will the material be accepted? Will it be in a tank? Will it be in drums? Is it for supply only (does it include the application of the tack coat? Answer: The tack will need to be laid down by the company, the customer does not have the equipment to put it down. Time for delivery is to be determined Question 4.) Please provide more info on CLIN 0003 - Delivery to Schofield Barracks. Does it cover both CLIN 0001 and CLIN 0002. Answer: Yes Question 5.) Will it be a "spot delivery" (dump and go) or to a waiting paving crew for placement. Answer: Contractor will have to spread the asphalt. Tack coat will be delivered and applied by the vendor at a designated time determined by the customer.
