Description

The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Wildlife Services (WS), Hilo, Hawaii, intends to procure ten (10) 400 Gallon Drencher Spray Tank. F.o.b. Destination. A firm fixed price purchase order will be awarded. Small business set aside under NAICS Code 333298, Business Size: 500 employees. Submit faxed quotations to the Purchasing Section at (6122) 370-2136, Attention Joanne Mann. QUOTATIONS ARE DUE AUGUST 26, 2005 BY 10:00 A.M. local time. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR 12. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPISIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses which are in effect through the current Federal Acquisition Circular. SPECIFICATIONS: 400 gallon skid mounted nursery tank, stainless steel tank, large diameter sparge tube agitator. No paint on tank, two lid opening on top of tank, stainless steel mixing basket, return to basket dump valve mounted on the front of the tank, single baffle, heavy duty channel frame construction, enamel coated orange No hose storage rack. Tank shall fit within the following space: 121 inches long, 60 inches wide and 10 inches high railings. Unit shall include the following accessories: 8 Honda engine (or equivalent) with belts to drive the centrifugal pump (8psi/92gmp); one length of 100 foot of 1.5 inch collapsible canvas fie hose with fittings; two lengths of 50 foot 1.5 inch collapsible canvas fire hose with fittings; one length of 15 foot of rubber hose with fittings; one brass adjustable fire spray nozzle; manifold with two outlets with male garden hose fittings with shut-off valves.
