Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons has a requirement for the purchase of (3) three each, Model Year 2006, refrigerated electric 53' trailers with the following specifications; 55,000 lbs evenly distributed payload capacity, 65,000 lbs gross vehicle weight rating, 53'0" overall length, 13'6" O/A height on 46-1/2" fifth Ht for 107-1/8" Post Ht, 102-3/8" overall width, straight deck, 4 1/4" deep box beam design front sub-frame, 9 GA Hiten 60 steel full width approach plate, 3GA High tensile steel full width kingpin plate, cruciform type kingpin, 36" kingpin location, (1) conduit through fron sub 30-1/2" from C/L on roadside, extruded alum cover on front face of approach plate, cross members over rear sub-frame in rear 58" on 6" C/L, rubber dock bumpers 2" proud, gladhand with quick release valve, manually operated dump valve, furnish and install carrier Electra, full electric unit in small hole in nose, carrier Electra unit run in and commissioning, stainless steel front corner post inserts, roll up door 2-1/2"W/PPW fiberglass face (single track design) polyurethane insulation foamed in place, 4" thick front wall, 2" thick side wall, 3" thick roof, 3" thick floor, 3" thick rear doors, natural alum finish top front and top side rails, prep-painted white front panels, side panels, and rear door panel finish, natural alum finish front approach plate, natural alum roof exterior finish to be delivered to the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) located in Coleman, Florida 33521. The small business size standard for this requirement is 750 employees and the NAICS is 333415. The delivery date is anticipated for September 30, 2005. We are publicizing this acquisition in this manner to determine whether there are firms with the interest and capabilities to warrant continuing to set this acquisition aside under one of the applicable programs, or whether services should be solicited on an unrestricted basis.
