Description

The Federal Highway Administration, Western Federal Lands Highway Division is seeking sources for Geotechnical Drilling Services for 16 sub-grades and 16 asphalt core borings. All other borings will be drilled using hollow stem auger to refusal using an HQ3 wire-line core system. The project is located in Glacier National Park, Going to the Sun Road, Flathead County, Montana. Solicitation number DTFH70-05-Q-0032 is a Request For Quotation prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12, the Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This solicitation will be 100% set-a-side for small business. All firms responding must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) http://www.ccr.gov for award. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 213111; the small business size standard is 500 employees. The projected start date for this project is 9-13-2005.
