Description

This solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set Aside, NAICS code 811213 applies, with a size standard of 6 million (SDVOSB, 8A, HubZone participation encouraged). Provide all labor, supervision, equipment and necessary materials to upgrade the Zone Paging System at the VA Medical Center, Minneapolis, MN. The Government anticipates award of a commercial item contract to the offeror whose offer provides the best value to the Government. Award will be made utilizing the Simplified Acquisitions Procedures outlined in FAR subpart 13.5, and a combination of FAR part 12, 13, 15, and 17 award procedures. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about August 16, 2005 and will be issued via Fed Biz Opps Electronic Posting System at http://www.fedbizopps.gov with proposals due by 3:30 P.M. CST, September 7, 2005. Offerors are responsible for checking the web site regularly to obtain amendments. Questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing. Quotations must be submitted in writing to the issuing office, be in accordance with the quotation preparation instructions outlined in the solicitation, and be timely.
