Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-03.Solicitation number HURLFF850074 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation incorporates clauses and provisions effective through Federal Acquisition circular (FAC) 97-23. This requirement is being synopsized as full and open competition under NAICS Code 441110 with a small business size standard of $24.5Mil. The resulting contract will be a Firm Fixed Price type Contract under FAR Part 12 / Acquisition of Commercial Items. DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall provide a complete and usable end product. Contractor must provide pricing on all items for their quote to be accepted. No alterations, additions, or deletions shall be made unless by prior written approval of the Contracting Officer. The award of a contract will be made to the offeror whose proposal contains the price and technical features, including delivery date (schedule), offering the best overall value to the Government. Price and technical, including schedule, are approximately equal. Please include any warranties that apply. Your proposal must include all shipping and preparation costs (F.O.B. Destination). Your proposal must also include the date the vehicle will be ready for delivery. The Government will consider only proposals for vehicles meeting or equal to the Ford E-350 XLT specifications, and any optional items listed herein.
