- Description
- The Contractor shall furnish all plant, materials, labor, services, equipment, supervision, and performance necessary for construction of permanent erosion control bridge structure pursuant to technical specifications and plans. The project is located at the Pechanga Indian Reservation, near the City of Temecula, in Riverside County, California. The Bureau of Indian Affairs requires a firm, fixed-price construction contract. This is a full and open competition acquisition, and is set-aside for small business. Period of Performance is 90 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. The estimated dollar value of this procurement is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Bid opening date is scheduled at 2:00 P.M. (local time), August 26, 2005 at BIA-Navajo Regional Office, 301 West Hill Avenue, 3rd Floor Conference Room No. 342, Gallup, New Mexico 87301. Twenty-five (25) sets of solicitation packages will be available on first come, first served basis until the supply is exhausted. Technical inquiries must be submitted in writing five (5) days before the closing date. Bidders are urged contact Lisa Northup, Technical Representative, BIA Southern California Agency, at (909) 276-6624, ext. 235; and bidders are expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. All responsive bids from responsible bidders will be considered. Interested firms are requested to submit a written request to obtain the solicitation package either by mail or by facsimile, Fax No (505) 863-8382 to the attention of Ray Slim. Telephone requests to obtain the solicitation package will not be accepted. Contract award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Submission by faxed Invitation for Bids will not be accepted since this solicitation is a sealed bid procedure under FAR Part 14.
