Description

The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to test, inspect and certify boilers and unfired pressure vessels in accordance with MIL-HDBK-1152, Inspection and Certification of Boilers and Unfired Pressure vessels and Chapter II, Section I-400 of the National Board Inspection Code at Naval Air Station Brunswick, Maine, Topsham Maine Annex and SERE School near Rangley, Maine. The contract resulting from this solicitation will be for a period of one year with four option years. ALL PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS MUST REGISTER IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION DATABASE PRIOR TO AWARD OF A CONTRACT. BIDDERS ARE FURTHER ADVISED THAT FAILURE TO REGISTER IN THE DOD CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION DATABASE MAY RENDER YOUR FIRM INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. Registration can be accomplished on www.ccr2000.com. Replies to this notice are requested from NAICS 541990, All Other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The official access to the solicitation will be available on the internet at http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil on or about 01 SEP 05. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made only on the Internet and the official plan holder?s list will be maintained on, and can be printed from the Internet site. All prospective quoters must register as plan holders on the Internet EBS website for this project. Each company must indicate it?s name, address, phone number, and e-mail address; identify whether the firm is a prime, sub or supplier and indicate whether firm is a Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business or Large Business or if a firm is a Woman-Owned Business. Plan centers are also required to register. It is therefore, the contractor?s responsibility to check the above listed address daily for any posted changes to the solicitation?s plans and specifications. This solicitation will be in electronic format only and all documents will be provided in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) files.
