Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Contracting Department Philadelphia Office intends to modify existing contract N00600-00-C-1974 with Mobile Video Services in order to allow for an additional three (3) months of audio-visual/multimedia and classroom support services to the United States Naval Academy (USNA), Annapolis, MD beginning 01 October 2005 and ending 31 December 2005. Services will be required for creation of multimedia presentations, classroom equipment support, staffing of self help/graphics/media lab and other related services. Mobile Video Services is considered the only supplier of these services at this time, as they are the only company which can support the immediate needs of the Government without a costly start-up period. This contract is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-2. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or to submit proposals. Please note; however, this action is required in order to provide a continuity of services and to allow sufficient time to finalize and process the requirements of a competitive follow-on contract. (It is anticipated that the solicitation for the follow-on requirement will be available at: http://www.neco.navy.mil by 26 September 2005.) This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not pay for information received.
