Description

Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and transportation to perform all roof repairs to the roof of Building 8 located at USCG ISC Boston, 427 Commercial Street, Boston MA 02109. Overlay all existing seams (approx. 1700 linear feet) with 5" pressure sensitive tape and calk all end laps. Patch all areas where fasteners are protruding thru membrane.(Approximately 25 that are outside of the area covered by "crushed insulation repair" item below). Flash all 4 corners on existing roof curbs. Top-off 4 pitch pockets where protrusions are removed. Flash perimeter metal on top of parapet walls. Replace two areas of crushed insulation, outside elevator penthouse doors, with new insulaton appropriate for heavy trafic areas, and 1/2" decking.(Approximately 1500 Sq.Ft. Repair areas on back wall where protrusions have toorn membrane (4 sections approximately 18" X 30". Open area of loose membrane and adhere the existing membrane to the existing insulation. Make all necessary flashing repairs (approx. 800 Square Feet). A SCHEMATIC OF THE AREA WILL BE FAXED TO ALL PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS UPON REQUEST, OR PROVIDED AT THE TIME OF SITE VISIT. A SITE VISIT, PRIOR TO BID, IS REQUIRED This solicitation is covered under the Davis Bacon Act, and all related Federal Acquisition Regulations.
