Description

The Department of Commerce(DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration(NOAA), National Ocean Service(NOS), Center for Operational Oceanic Products and Services (CO-OPS), intends to award on a sole source basis with the Sybase, Inc. 561 Virginia Road Concord, MA 01742 for software support renewal for the following software: Unix SDK, Sybase Windows SDK, Open Client/C Developer?s Kit, ASE Enterprise Edition 3, Replication Server, and Open Switch. Notwithstanding the Government?s intent to negotiate this requirement on a sole source basis with the Sybase, Inc., responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered by NOAA. Responses must be received within 15 days of the posting of this notice. Responses may be emailed to Pauline.Jaffe@noaa.gov, fax to (301) 713-0823 x207 or mailed to DOC / NOAA / OFA NOS/NMFS/OAR AMD, 1305 East West Highway, Sta. 7608, Silver Spring, MD 20910. The NOS Acquisition Division intends to issue a firm-fixed price purchase order in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items. See Note 22.
