Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302 with Honeywell International Incorporated to repair and upgrade the Honeywell Delta-Net Fire Alarm Receiver at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The contractor mus t provide all resources necessary, including but not limited to, all labor, materials, equipment including lift, transportation, and supervision necessary to inspect,remove defective/outdated parts and replace with new parts and perform an operational test of the repaired/upgraded system. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This is a notice of intent to place a firm-fixed price contract with Honeywell International of Charlotte, North Carolina. Response to this notice will be used to determine whether bona fide competition exists and whether a formal solicitation is appropriate. Written responses, which include prices and sufficient technical data to determine capability to meet the requirement, must be received in this offic e within five (5) calendar days after publication of this notice. If no written responses are received within the time specified, a contract will be placed with Honeywell International Incorporated Charlotte, North Carolina. A request for a solicitation w ill not be considered a response. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
