Description

The Government intends to award a follow-on Cost-Plus Fixed Fee type contract on a sole source basis. SIT is currently providing this type of support to the CERDEC under Contract Number DAAB07-01-D-L542. A follow-on contract with SIT is contemplated to continue this mission essential work of laser communications and microwave antenna technology applications. The services being sought are for technical support in evaluating applications of high speed, secure, tactical, free space optical communication links for digital battlefield communications. Evaluations are being conducted at the Photonics/Microwave Laboratory, at Ft. Monmouth, NJ. The period of performance shall be four years, including three one year options. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
