Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, has a requirement for the rental of heavy construction equipment to be used to assist with vegetation clearing support in the Las Vegas Wash, Henderson, NV. The equipment rental is for approximately one month, from October 3 to October 27, 2005. (The CAT excavator 320 with thumb is for only 10 days-October 18 to October 27, 2005). The equipment is to be delivered to the site. The equipment includes two ea, CAT D6 Dozer with Ripper Blades, a CAT 615 Water Truck (5,000 gallons w/water canon), and a CAT Excavator 320 with Thumb. This requirement is being procured under the Commerical Items Test Program at FAR 13.5 for full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 532412. Effective October 1, 2003, prospective vendors must be registered on the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) site prior to the award of a contract. You may register by going to www.ccr.gov. You will need your Dun & Bradstreet number and banking information. It is anticipated that a Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about August 18, 2005, and awarded on August 29, 2005; however, all dates in this announcement are subject to change.
