Description

The National Park Service intends to issue a Request for Quote, RFQ, Acquisition for Commerical Items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12 for grass cutting and lawn services at Fort Sumter National Monument and Charles Pinckney National Historic Site, Sullivan's Island, Charleston County, South Carolina. The soliciation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about August 18, 2005. Quotations are due September 1, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. local time. TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE PROVIDED. The NAICS code is 561730 and the applicable size standard is $6 Million average receipts. This procurement is offered as a 100% set aside for small business. This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items. Past Peformance and Cost or price are approximately equal in the evaluation process. The Government intends to evaluate and award a firm fixed price contract without discussions with offerors. The offerors initial offer should contain the offerors best price. The Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary. The Government may reject any or all offers if such action is in the public interest; accept other than the lowest price offer, and waive minor informalities and minor irregularities in offers received.
