- This is amendment P0002 to solicitation N00604-05-T-0764. The following are questions and answers from prospective vendors. Closing date remains the same. Question 1.) Can State of Hawaii - Dept. of Transportation (SOH-DOT) State Mix V be used? It is a -1/2-inch mix. Answer: No Question 2.) Is this virgin hot bituminous mix (with new aggregate and new asphalt) or recycled hot bituminous mix (with a percentage of recycled aggregated and recycled asphalt combined into the mix)? Answer: It is not classified as hot mix Question 3.) Can SS-1H tack coat be used? What is the application rate of the tack coat? Is this material to be placed by the contractor prior to placing the Recycled Asphalt (CLIN 0001) by the customer? Is a distributor truck required? Answer: You would need to reference a previous job so that the customer can take a look at the tack coat you applied to determine if it is acceptable. Contractor will be responsible for delivering and applying the tack coat. Question 4.) How many areas in Schofield Barracks are going to be paved? How many days are needed for the delivery of the Recycled Asphalt (CLIN 0001) and the Tack Coat (CLIN 0002)? Answer: There is only one project site, the truck drivers will only have to make one stop. Estimated time for delivery is five days.
