Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This is a sole source requirement and if after evaluation the agency determines that there is no other comparable service, an award will be made without further notification. Responses must be received, in writing, within ten (10) calendar days of publication of this notice. The Overseas Private Investment Corporation intends to award a sole source purchase order to the incumbent firm, Bloomberg, for the Bloomberg Professional service subscription renewal. This online financial service provides unique business, financial, and securities information, including financial data and analyses for key securities markets worldwide, business news from worldwide news bureaus, historical prices and spreads, in-depth financials on public corporations, portfolio and bond analytics, country analysis, equities, world currencies, commodities, emerging markets, mergers and acquisitions analysis, derivative products and coverage of world industries, markets and governments. In addition, Bloomberg's legal files contain searchable federal and state court dockets, full text court documents from federal courts, and secondary materials on financial and legal topics. The service includes access from 1 Bloomberg terminal and the requisite connectivity (T1 line). Interested parties must submit sufficient descriptive literature with their response to prove their capability to satisfy the requirements. Requests must be in writing. No telephone, fax, or email responses will be accepted. This acquisition is being conducted under the guidelines as set forth in the Simplified Acquisitions Procedures (SAP).
