Description

The Northern Region Contracting Center, Mission Division, Fort Leavenworth, KS intends to award a sole-source purchase order to C4I Training Systems. This service is in support of the General Command and Staff College (CGSC), Digital Leader Developme nt Center (DLDC). The contractor shall provide MILSIM software integration into the CGSC exercise program. The effort will provide a combined entity-level fidelity with an easy-to-build/change system database and terrain. Unit actions are controlled by int elligent actions and SAF within the software, and can be ordered using military missions, graphics and triggers. The combination of these features allows low overhead operation of the simulation while providing the detailed information required for stimula tion of digital command and control systems. The software is not platform dependent, allowing the simulation to be run within the classroom on the existing computer hardware. New users should be able to use the simulation with two hours of training. Purcha se will be made under simplified acquisition procedures under Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Offerors responding to this notice must provide a statement of capability by email to viola.owens@leavenworth.army.mil not later than 2:00PM CDT on 25 Aug 05.
