Description

The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Klamath Basin Area Office, intends to award on a sole source basis with Biomark Inc, 7615 W. Riverside Drive, Boise ID 83714 for the purpose of procuring the following brand name or equal products FS1001 M multiplexing PIT readers and Custom FS2001 Iso reader with flat plate antenna. The North American Industry Classification system Code (NAICS) is 334511. The Bureau's rquirement is for Biomark Inc, PIT tag readers and antennas capable of reading both 125 and 134 kHz PIT tags, that read and store encrypted PIT tags made by other manufacturers and the flat-plate antennas needed for monitoring suckers. The government believes that only one responsible source can readily provide the product listed above that will satisfy the agency requirements. Any firm or individual that believes it can furnish the items described are encouraged to give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished, in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. All responses recieved by close of business August 25, 2005 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this noticeis solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
