Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) Des Moines, WA office intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Faxitron MX-20 X-ray for X-ray machine designed for specimen/small animal radiography. The proposed contract action is for items for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Numbered Note 22 applies. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be normally considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR Part 12, The NAICS code is 334517 Size Standard is 500.
