Description

RFP R3-01-05-41 ? Pierce Fuels Reduction NAICS Code: 115310 The USDA Forest Service, Apache?Sitgreaves National Forests, Springerville, Arizona, has a requirement for fuels reduction, on the Black Mesa Ranger District, Overgaard, AZ 85933. The Government anticipates awarding a Performance Based Service Contract (PBSC) with a Firm Fixed-Price. Award will be based on the successful offeror?s response that provides the best value to the Government with consideration given to past performance, submittal documentation to satisfy evaluation factors for PBSC, and methods proposed to accomplish the work. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Small Business size standard is $15.0 Million under NAICS code 115310 (fuels management). The solicitation package, plans, and specifications will be made available on or after August 12, 2005, and will be posted at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. In order to be eligible for award of a Federal contract, Offerors must now be registered in the Central Contractor Registration System (CCR). The template containing information necessary for registration can be found at http://www.ccr.gov/handbook.cfm. No Telephone requests for solicitation packages will be accepted.
