- This is a Sources Sought Announcement for the purpose of conducting Market Research. There is no solicitation available at this time, nor does this notice constitute a commitment by the government to post a solicitation for future services if required. The Federal Bureau of Prisons is conducting Market Research to gather information regarding the availability of 8(a) and/or HUBZone Certified contractors IN THE WASHINGTON DC AND SURROUNDING AREA ONLY, to perform Trash and Debris Collection and Disposal Services under NAICS Code 562111. Future services would require Contractor to provide one (1) Self-Contained Roll-Off Compactor approximately 242 inches in length x 93 inches in width, and 68 inches in height with a 26 yard cubic yard capacity and a compacting ration of 3:1; and one (1) thirty cubic yard Open Top Container. Each container would be pulled on an average of twice per week, per contract period, however, Contractor would be expected to respond to ?as needed? pulls during periods of heavy office renovations/building construction and/or other extraordinary circumstances. Contractor may also be required to provide additional equipment during periods of heavy office renovations/building construction or other extraordinary circumstances. Contractor would be geographically located in the Washington, DC and surrounding area to meet the required response times for ?as needed? pulls and/or additional equipment. Contractor would be able to respond to ?as needed? or additional equipment requirements with a 24-hour advance notification.
