- The U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners in Springfield, Missouri intends to solicit for the provision of Non-Personal Spanish Interpreter services. The successful contractor will be responsible to provide documentation to fluently interpret the Spanish language with basic knowledge of medical and legal terminology, experience with inmate patients in prison clinics and legal settings, and acceptance within the Federal and State Court Systems as a qualified foreign language interpreter. This quotation should result in the offer of a contract award which will consist of a base year with an option to renew for four (4) twelve (12) month option periods. Estimated usage quantities for service are 80 one hour sessions per month for base and four option years. The quotation will be made available on or about August 26, 2005 and will be distributed solely through this website. Hard copies of the quotation will not be available. The website provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this quotation, including amendments, will also be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is September 23, 2005. This quotation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industrial Classification System (NACIS) code is 541930 and the applicable small business size standard is $6 million. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
