Description

In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.202 (a)(13), Exceptions to publicizing contract actions, there will not be a pre-solicitation notice posted for this required action. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED. The NAICS code for the requirement is 532412. The size standard for this NAICS code is $6,000,000.00. The proposed contract action is a 100% small-business set-aside. The Defense Priorities and Allocation System (DPAS) assigned rating is DO-C9. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-05. Description of Requirement: F.E. Warren AFB request the lease of two Series 1100 National Cranes that are capable of supporting at least 14,000 pounds. This requirement is scheduled to begin on 1 October 2005 and continue for twelve months. All quotes are to include the perspective cost of all maintenance as well. In accordance with the statement of work. Contingent upon availability of funds, additive bid items are contemplated. Please provide a supplemental quote for an additive bid item to lease a third crane and an additive bid item to lease a fourth crane.
