Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The purchase request number is F3MTF25181A1 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) (iii) This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-05. (iv) This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The associated NAICS code is 337215 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. (v) This requirement consists of one Line Item: Design, Purchase and Install Shelving Systems. Quantity: 2. (vi) Description: The contractor shall supply all materials, tools, equipment, personnel and supervision to provide a proper design, function, utility, egress and safety for user personnel. Provide easily adjustable shelves (without nuts and bolts). All shelving units to contain back panels. The system should be able to roll and lock, rubber matting required for shelves and drawers, provide durable shelves and drawers to accommodate various aircraft dimensions (dimensions provide in attachment 1). Provide partitions per drawer, weight capacity for the shelves is 2,600 pounds. Safety covers are required for exposed panels and row ends. A commercial warranty is required. There will be a site visit on 1 Sep 2005 at 9:00 am. We will meet at Building 560 (43rd Contracting Squadron) first, prior to going to the location. (vii) Delivery is requested no later than 45 days from date of contract award. FOB shall be destination, and shipping should be included in the unit price. (viii) The provision at 52.203-3, Gratuities, applies to this solicitation. (ix) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial, applies to this solicitation. (x) The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation ? Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Paragraph (a) of FAR 52.212-2 is added to read: Lowest price technically acceptable. The contractor certifies that it can meet the delivery date by submitting a quotation. (xi) The provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The contractor shall be registered in the Online Representations and Certifications Application ? ORCA ? at http://orca.bpn.gov/. (xii) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition Paragraph (o) is changed to read: The contractor shall provide all standard commercial warranties to the government.
