Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is a 100% small business set-a side, three (3) year, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity firm fixed price type contract. The small size standard is 1000 employees for the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 335312. This solicitation is a Request for Proposa l (RFP) W15P7T-05-R-B249. The U.S. Army intends to procure the following item: Motor, Alternating Current, NSN 6105-01-137-3162. The minimum quantity is 10 each and the maximum quantity is 45 each over the three (3) year period. The first order will have a minimum quantity of 10 each which will be delivered 150 days after contract, while each additional order will have a range quantity from 1-15. CLIN 0001 is for Contract Year 1, with a period of performance from Date of Award through 365 Days after Award. CLIN 0002 is for Contract Year 2, with a period of performance from 366 Days after Award through 731 Days after Award. CLIN 0003 is for Contract Year 3 with a period of performance from 732 Days after Award through 1097 Days after Award. For prop osal purposes, each bidder will propose a quantity of fifteen (15) for each contract year to equal a total quantity of forty five (45) units. THIS WILL BE A REVERSE AUCTION ACQUISITION. Shipments are to be FOB Destination. All items are to be shipped to New Cumberland Army Depot, DODAAC W25G1U. Packaging and Packing shall be in accordance with Standard Practice for Commercial Packaging (ASTM D 3951-98). Applicable to this solicitation is FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial; FAR 52.212-4 C ontract Terms and Conditions, Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; FAR 52.227-01 Authorization and Consent; 52.227-02 Notice and Assistance Regarding Patent and Cop yright Infringement; FAR 52.227-03 Patent Indemnity; FAR 52.227-06 Royalty Information; FAR 52.219-06, Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside, DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Notification and FAR 52.227-09 Refund of Roya lties. The Offeror is required to complete and submit a copy of the FAR provision 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, (attached to solicitation # W15P7T-05-R-B249 on the IBOP). Award will be made to the lowest price submitted under the Reverse Auction Procedures. The solicitation will close at the close of business on 08 SEPTEMBER 2005. All prospective offerors will have returned the completed Certifications and Representations and a signed copy of the Reverse Auction Agreement which can be downloaded from the Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) (https://abop.monmouth.army.mil) under solicitation number W15P7T-05-R-B249.
