Description

JOB DESCRIPTION: SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE / NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD ON A SOLE SOURCE BASIS. The USACE Sacramento District intends to award a GSA delivery order and purchase order to acquire a Data Collection platform system. Contractor will also pr ovide all labor, material, equipment and travel to perform installation at a specified site. The sole source is Vaisala Inc., HydroMet Solutions, 194 South Taylor, Louisville, CO 80027. The GSA contract number is GS-25F-6029D. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate under the authority of 40 U.S.C 501, Section 201 of the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949 [in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(e)(1) per FAC 2005-04 Item II for the GSA delivery order] and FAR 6.302-2 (section 4202 o f the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996) [in accordance FAR 13.501(a)(ii) for the Part 12 open market award]. This Procurement will be conducted under FSC Code: 6695 SIC Code: 4941 NAICS Code: 221310. The size standard for this code is $6,000,000. This is not a request for competitive proposals or quotations. All interested parties that believe they can fulfill the requirement stated above are encouraged to provide a written notification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furn ished, in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. All responses must be received within 10 days after the date of publication of this synopsis to be considered by the Government. A determination by the Govern ment not to compete this proposed action is within the discretion of the Government. All responses are due in not later than 19 August 2005/1:00 p.m. local time.
