Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Announcement is a follow-on to our original Solicitation Number W911W4-05-R-0005, a sources sought announcement that was published on June 8, 2005, Subject - JPROGRAMMED DEPOT MAINT ENANCE (PDM) AIRCRAFT CONDITION INSPECTIONS IN SOUTH KOREA ON RC-12D/H BEECH KING AIRCRAFT 200 SERIES. Proposals are now being requested and a soft copy of the SF1449 Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items will be forwarded to all interested par ties upon request. Combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as an RFP under solicitation number W911W4-05-R-0008 that replaced W911W4-05-R-0005. This is a full and open competition. Appropriate NAICS code is 336411/2, with a size standard of 1500 employee s. It is our intention to award a firm-fixed-price contract. Government reserves the right to award without discussions. Proposals shall be submitted in U.S. dollars. Provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial, applies to this acquis ition with following addendum: Foreign offerors are not required to provide a Federal Tax Identification number. Provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items is applicable to this acquisition. Evaluation criteria is included in this provision. C ontract will be awarded to offeror whose proposal conforms to requirements of this solicitation and is found to be the best value to the government. Award may be made to an acceptable offeror that is not lowest in price, but whose proposal is sufficiently advantageous to justify payment of a higher price.
