Description

This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and an award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife (FWS) intends to issue a Request For Quotation (RFQ) for a Model 2360 Buhler Versatile 360 HP Tractor. NAICS Code: 333924, Size Standard: 750 employees, a total small business set-aside. A firm fixed commercial order will be issued. Anticipated award date will be on or about 09/01/2005. You may view the RFQ at http://www.fedbizops.gov. The Fish and Wildlife Service is presently using Electronic Commerce (EC) to issue Request for Quotations and Purchase Orders. You must register in EC at web site http://www.ccr.gov to receive contract award. If you have any registration questions, please call 1-888-227-2423. Prior to registering each company must obtain a Dun and Bradstreet Number. You may obtain this number free of charge at 1(888)227-2423. Once you are registered you will be able to view quotes on line at http://ideasec.nbc.gov (the Department of Interior site). For questions at interior's site, please call the help desk at (703)390-6633. This will be your only means of obtaining the solicitation/award or submitting a quote electronically. All contractors with access to the internet and an e-mail address can receive electronic notifications of award. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Thus, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for proposal receipts may render your offer non-responsive and result in the rejection of same.
