Description

The U. S. Geological Survey, WRD,Hydrological Instrument Facility, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to make award on a sole source basis, to Precision Seals and Manufacturing, Inc. Plaquemine. LA to purchase parts and a magnetic switch kit for the USGS designed Pygmy meter for the purpose of conducting water sampling tests and evaluation near the Stennis Space Facility in Mississippe. Precision Seals and Manufacturing assisted in the final development of the current equipment and they possess the technical knowledge covering the intricate designs and assembly of the equipment. There is no written solicitiation for this requirement. This award will be made on or about August 25, 2005 under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 332721. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No additional synopsis will be published. See note 1.
