- N40083-05-Q-4462, BUILDING 3173, REPLACE CARPET, VINYL FLOOR AND MISC PAINTING AT THE NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY, CRANE, INDIANA. This RFQ will be released via the Internet. All prospective offerors and plan rooms must be registered on the website. This RFQ will be available for viewing and downloading at http:www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. The official planholders list will be maintained and can be printed from the website only. Amendments will b posted on the website for downloading. This will normally be the only method of distributing amendments, therefore, IT IS THE OFFEROR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS RFP. All contractual and technical questions must be submitted to Debra Dills, email to: debbie.dills@navy.mil. The proposal will be evaluated on the Offeror's technical submission and price proposal. Technical and price factors will be equal in significance. Offerors are required to submit separate technical and price proposals for the project. As a result of this Request for Proposal, the offeror determined to be the best in ability and value to the Government will be awarded this contract. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supplies, materials, certifications, testing, transportation and supervision and incidental related work to remove and replace carpet, vinyl composition tile floor, paint interior walls, doors and handrails, install new fire rated stairwell door to East stairwell and related work as stated in the Statement of Work and Exhibits complete and ready to use at the Naval Support Activity, (NSA) Crane, Indiana. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract has been awarded. A SITE VISIT HAS BEEN SCHEDULED FOR 9:00 A.M. ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 24, 2005. PARTICIPANTS SHALL MEET AT BUILDING 2516, NSA CRANE. OFFERORS WHO WOULD LIKE TO VISIT THE JOB SITE ARE ASKED TO ATTEND AT THIS TIME. ACCESS TO THE JOB SITE AT OTHER TIMES PRIOR TO THE PROPOSAL DUE DATE IS NOT GUARANTEED. The accomplishment of this work effort will be via Firm-Fixed Price contract utilizing the Small Purchase Procedures. This proposed solicitation will be issued as Unrestricted Procurement. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 238330 Flooring Contractor. The Small Business Size Standard is $12.0 Million. Proposals are due Tuesday, August 30, 2005 2:00 PM local time at the NAVFAC MW/DET CRANE Office, Crane, Indiana.
