This solicitation will be available for downloading from our website beginning approximately 16 September 2005. To register for this solicitation e-mail the following directly to Karen Tindley at karen.tindley @navy.mil: Solicitation number N00174-05-R-0048 in the subject line of your e-mail; name of requestor; organization name, address, fax number, and e-mail address. Use your e-mail "read notification" to confirm the contractor receipt of your registration. The Government is not responsible for any undelivered e-mail. It is the requestor's responsibility to periodically check the IHDIV Contracts Division website for current status of solicitation and amendments. ONCE THE SOLICITATION HAS BEEN ISSUED ON THE INTERNET, THE CONTRACT SPECIALIST WILL SEND AN E-MAIL TO THE REGISTERED REQUESTOR INFORMING THEM THAT SOLICITATION IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOADING FROM THE INTERNET. Copies of issued solicitations can only be obtained by downloading them from the Contracts Division website at http://www.ih.navy.mil/contracts (copies of solicitations will not be e-mailed, faxed, mailed, or provided in person, these types of requests WILL NOT BE ACKNOWLEDGED). Note: All offerors will be ineligible for award unless they have registered in DOD's Central Contractor Registration database. Offerors and contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at htt://www.ccr2000. This requirement is for 2-NDPA in flake form. Quantity: 25,000 lbs. Delivery Schedule: 120 days after award of contract. Award will be based on sample testing, past performance and price. Contractors who submitted the 2-NDPA in crystal form will be allowed to submit the 2-NDPA in flake form. The contractor must be a small business who manufactures the 2-NDPA in the Unites States. If contractors have submitted 2-NDPA in flake form in the past two years and passed the sample test the requirement for sampling will be waived.
